Housekeeper
FTE: 1.0 Full Time Permanent
PROGRAM: Facility Operations
REPORTING TO: Housekeeping Supervisor
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Director of Facility Operations, the housekeeper is responsible for cleaning the Blood Tribe Department of Health Inc., facilities in accordance with infection prevention and control and occupational health and safety guidelines.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL QUALITIES:
- Grade 12 Education or equivillent
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System certification
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Minimum (2) YEARS’ experience in related field as Custodian and/or Janitorial is an asset
- First Aide / CPR
- Criminal Record Check; MUST INCLUDE Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must have good communication skills and familiar with Blackfoot Language and Culture.
- Able to sit, walk, transfer, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to keep an organized record of cleaning supply inventory.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and ssupplies.
- Manage time efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Team-player.
SALARY RANGE:
Salary Grid as established by BTDH.
