PROGRAM: Lethbridge Wellness Shelter & Stabilization Unit (LWSSU)
REPORTS TO: LWSSU Director
SUMMARY OF WORK:
The Executive Assistant to the Director of the homeless shelter plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operations of the organization. This position involves providing high-level administrative support, managing schedules, coordinating communications, and assisting with the overall execution of the shelter’s mission. The Executive Assistant will be a key point of contact within the organization and will help facilitate the smooth functioning of daily operations.
PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL QUALITIES:
- Graduate from an educational program in administration, or business at a degree level.
- Must have initiative and a professional attitude.
- Must be able to exercise discretion.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must possess excellent computer keyboarding skills.
- Must possess strong conflict resolution skills.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Must understand and maintain clientele/worker boundaries.
- Must have strong ability to manage stress and organize workload.
- Must have a working knowledge of basic book keeping.
SALARY RANGE:
- As per the Blood Tribe Department of Health Inc. salary grid.
