Friday Flu/COVID Clinics

Get protected this flu season! Community Health is hosting flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics every Friday in November. Details below:

Dates:

• November 8th
• November 15th
• November 22nd
• November 29th

Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Community Health

Vaccines Available:

• Influenza: Protects against 4 flu strains. All individuals over 6 months are eligible, with a focus on seniors, infants, children, and pregnant individuals who are at higher risk.
• COVID-19: Two mRNA vaccines are offered this year – Moderna Spikevax KP2 and Pfizer BioNTech. Vaccine choice depends on age (refer to IPSM for details).
• RSV: Available for residents of continuing care and supportive living over 60 years old and community-dwelling seniors over 75 years old (RSV abrysvo vaccine).
• Prevnar 20: Indigenous populations are at increased risk for Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD). This vaccine is available to all First Nations communities and can be given year-round.
