In response to COVID-19 the Blood Tribe Department of Health (BTDH) has been working to support individuals who may require isolation. At this time, the BTDH has temporarily acquired the Flamingo Hotel in Cardston to allow for proper isolation of community members.
In order to qualify for a referral to the Flamingo Hotel, an individual must:
In order to make a referral, please call 403-737-8411 to begin the process. Admissions will be determined by a charge nurse from 0800 to 1600 hours. Self-referrals will not be accepted.

The Wellness Centre Mental Health and Addictions Program is adhering to the guidelines and practicing social distancing. As a result, our Mental Health Clinical Team is currently providing the following:
The Mental Health Clinical Team is in the planning stages of setting up virtual tele-counselling support services to community members during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wellness Centre Mental Health/Clinical team has a vital role to play during this pandemic and are keeping our morale high so that we remain composed and focused to provide the best services to Blood Tribe Members. The Wellness Program is also willing to develop collaboration with other departments to provide support services.
