Program: Continuing Care Centre Nutrition Services
Position: Casual
Reporting to: Nutrition Services Manager

Summary of Work:

The Dietary Aide 1 is responsible to clear tables, clean kitchen areas, wash dishes and perform various other activities to assist workers who are preparing or serving food and beverages in Long Term Care and Bring the Spirit Home programs.

Professional Qualifications:

• Maintain certification:
• Operate large and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Have necessary communications and interpersonal skills to provide effective interaction between all persons, including co-workers.
• Function independently a d effectively
• Have effective organizational skills
• Understand the Blackfoot culture and language.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Ability to:
  • Function independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Set priories in the face of multiple demands.
  • Assume responsibility to maintain or improve personal health and well-being.
  • Able to provide and receive constructive feedback.

Salary Range:

• In accordance with the Blood Tribe Department of Health salary grid.
