Program: Lethbridge Wellness Shelter Stabilization Unit
Reporting To: Stabilization Unit Team LeadSummary of Work:
Under the direction of the Stabilization Unit Team Lead and as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, provide support and assistance to the Shelter and Stabilization Unit Teams.
Professional and Personal Qualities:
- Graduate of approved Practical Nurse program with current license.
- Current registration with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta
- Other certifications/competencies as required by registering body and as required by program/department.
- Current CPR certification, to be re-certified annually.
- Current Frist Aid certification, to be re-certified every three years.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in related clinical area.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in nursing.
- Non-Violence Crisis Intervention Training Certificate (or be willing to complete).
- Current basic and advanced foot care certification
- Shall be mature, flexible, pleasant and exercise a high degree of initiative and judgment.
- Must have necessary communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective interaction between all persons, including coworkers.
- Must act with integrity and treat all information regarding residents, physicians, staff and financial and operational status of the organization as confidential.
- Knowledge and roles of the multidisciplinary team members
- Ability to function independently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Application of proper body mechanic principles
- Ability to problem-solve and have critical thinking skills.
- Able to set priorities in the face of multiple demands.
- Assumes responsibility to maintain or improve personal health and well-being.
- Able to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Able to sit, walk, transfer, lift, carry equipment and supplies.
Salary Range:
- As per Blood Tribe Department of Health Inc. salary grid.

Reporting To: Wound Care NurseSummary of Work:
Under the supervision of the Wound Care Nurse and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the Clinical Trail Administrator will provide clerical and administrative duties to support the DermGEN project.
The Clinical Trail Administrator will provide day-to-day support the to project and ensure the Client participation is complete with screening, enrolling, randomization, scheduling of clinic visits and data handling and entry.
Professional Qualifications:
- Graduate of approved secondary program (or related program).
- One (1) year experience working a clinical setting
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Ability to work with a matrix team.
- Time management and organizational abilities
- Work effectivity with cross-functional teams in multiple locations.
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Attention to detail
- Methodical approach
- Excellent computer literacy skills including knowledge of MS Office and excellent writing skills.
- Possess excellent filing skills and be familiar with filing systems.
- Have necessary communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective interaction between all persons, including co-workers.
- Knowledge of the roles of the multi-disciplinary team members.
- Ability to function independently and effectively.
